In his past professional experience, Rob was Corporate Counsel for Tosco Corporation (later Phillips Petroleum Co.), a Fortune 500 company. He supported several disciplines including marketing, real estate, procurement, contracts, and franchising, providing both transactional services and litigation management. In 2006, Rob became a litigation associate with Wilenchik and Bartness, P.C., where he practiced business litigation, construction defect litigation, civil rights actions defense and tort litigation.
In his most recent position prior to joining the firm, Rob was General Counsel for an FCC license application services firm and a startup company looking to build and operate a nationwide machine-to-machine telecommunications network. Rob was responsible for advising management regarding legal issues, drafting agreements, ensuring compliance with securities and telecommunications laws, and managing outside counsel.
Rob earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and was a Magna Cum Laude graduate from Arizona State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
